Job Listing: Mid-Senior level Web Developer

TEKsystems is partnered with a company in RTP that is in need of a web developer with Java experience to work a 6 month to hire position in RTP.
The primary responsibility for this position will be to help design, develop, and test HEOS suite products. Evaluate, study, and apply new software technology to the product when appropriate while also maintaining the application. The developer will also provide product support to internal and external customers. Throughout the development you will be performing code reviews and also performing unit and functional testing. The team will work close with Information Services and Technology Project Managers to identify customer software requirements and modification needed for the project. Provide documentation of all changes and maintain all code in source control and ensure the consistency of the software developed within the company.
Technical environment consists of Java and Oracle.

Required Skills for Mid-Senior level Web Developer Job:

  • BACHELOR''S DEGREE IN CS OR EQUIVALENT EDUCATION
  • MINIMUM OF THREE YEARS OF WEB SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE USING JAVA- XML- XSLT- XHTML- CSS AND JAVASCRIPT
  • 3+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH ORACLE DATABASES
  • DEMONSTRATED PAST RECORD OF SUCCESSFUL WEB SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATIONS
  • UNDERSTANDING OF OBJECT-ORIENTED DESIGN AND PROGRAMMING
  • GOOD KNOWLEDGE IN SOFTWARE METHODOLOGIES- DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION
  • PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS ARE: AJAX- SERVER DEVELOPMENT (UNIX AND WINDOWS NT) - ECLIPSE- TOAD- FIREBUG- VBA- EXCEL MACRO PROGRAMMING
