Job Listing: Application Security Expert

There are 230 mainframe applications and 80 distributed applications. Will work at a high level to review architectural designs of the applications and look for weaknesses in security and ensure that security components are in place. Will ensure that the applications adhere to information security policies and standards by conducting and documenting information security assessments in collaboration with the business and IT project stakeholders. Will recommend appropriate secure development/coding practices, security options and solutions for the technologies associated with the project under review. Work closely with project managers to ensure that the applications/requests meet production deadlines with all the security controls in place. Works closely with business owners at to understand business pressures and project deadlines. Working with team of 30 people from different lines of business- IT, business, dedicated security.
