Job Listing: Entry Level Sales Engineer

Aerotek has a client that is looking for an Entry Level Sales Engineer. This position will be filled on a permanent basis. The initial salary is $30,000-$35,000/yr + Commission (3-5% of sales). Our client is located around Carpentersville, IL which is a northwest suburb of Chicago. This is a international company that just opened an office in the US. This person has the potential to quickly become an "insider" with this company and move quickly up through the ranks. This position will also have the unique opportunity to work directly for the President/CEO of the US Operations.


**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ENTRY LEVEL SALES ENGINEER**

*Will be selling to both new and existing customers in North America.

*Primary products sold will be CNCs and machines that work with foam and polyurethane – gluing systems.

*1st year travel will be 45%-55% because a lot of time will be spent training locally. It will take two full years to fully train.

*After 3-6 months: Will go to training for 4-5 weeks at Headquarters in Germany and then 4-5 weeks in Austria.

*2nd year and after: Travel will be 80%-85% - Made up of US, Canada, and Mexico (both by plane and car depending on location).


**JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY LEVEL SALES ENGINEER**

*Bachelors Degree in Engineering required – must have some knowledge/experience in Machining or Machine Engineering

*There is a chance that a person with a Business Degree who wants to sell could work out

*Must be willing to travel much of the time.


**OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRY LEVEL SALES ENGINEER**

*No relocation is offered for this position so local candidates will be given preference.

*Proficiency with the English language is a MUST
