Job Listing: Windows Device Driver Developer

Aerotek Engineering is currently looking for a Windows Device Driver Developer to work for their client located in Gaithersburg, MD. All qualified candidates should send their resumes to Christopher Gamboa at cgamboa@aerotek.com. Only qualified candidates will be considered.



Job Description:

- Design and implement Windows Kernel Device Driver for wireless network interface cards.

- Design and implement Windows Application, GUI and services for wireless client software management and RADIUS authentications.

- Windows application and device driver testing, certification and follow up with new technology development with Microsoft.



Qualifications:

- BSEE/BSCE or MSEE/MSCE.

- Systems design and implementation experience and excellent C and C++ skills required. .

- Excellent design and debugging skills and excellent skills at SW documentation.

- Able to debug low level SW, ability to characterize and optimize high performance networking SW and engineer system for high reliability.

- 1+ years of experience with Windows DDK, kernel level driver development and knowledge of WDM driver, and or Windows Driver Framework.

- 3+ years of experience with C/C++ programming and application development in MS Windows environment.

- Candidate must be familiar with hardware interfaces, development platforms and have a working knowledge of standard debug/ troubleshooting tools.

- Any experience with wireless technology, wireless protocols, 802.11 technology and network management is preferred, but not required.
