Job Listing: Aerospace Structures Engineer

Melbourne, FL Company is seeking an Aerospace Structures Engineer

Reports to: Chief Design Engineer

Job Summary:

**Develop engineering designs, documents, test plans, materials & process specifications and manuals for general aviation airframes.
**Development & test of aircraft structures and mechanical systems.
**Assist in generating certification documentation, analyses and test reports.

Desired Skills:

**Bachelors degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Structural engineering
**6-10 years of experience in aeronautical & structural design
**Previous work experience producing certification plans, test plans and test reports in a certified aircraft environment
**Possess knowledge of hand stress analysis and FEA methods.
**Ability to read, interpret and understand aircraft drawings, schematics and maintenance manuals.
**Prior knowledge of metallic and composite stress analysis and testing techniques for certified aircraft is desirable.
**Experience with composite primary structures, NASTRAN, & FAA PPL desired
