Job Listing: Retail Designer

Aerotek has an immediate need for a Visual Merchandiser / Retail Designer. You will create a compelling retail brand experience. Working to conceptualize and visualize retail displays in a broad range of categories.

Description/ Job Responsibilities:

*Developing compelling environments for retail (soft goods, hard goods and services) and restaurant domains (quick-service, fast-casual, or high-end).
*Projects can be new, retrofit or existing spaces
*Manage project from design through construction.
*Develop strong conceptual directions for retail/ branded experiences from client meetings
*Work with external vendors to implement design concepts for rollout.

Experience:

*5 + years experience working in a fast-paced design environment.
*Relevant experience and degree in architecture, retail design, interior design, industrial design.
*Carry design from conceptual phases / quick sketches through to final documentation.
*Project experience with Branded retail/restaurants/boutique stores

Required Capabilities:

*Project examples of creative, unique design solutions for BRANDED retail
*Strong command of AutoCAD, plus if has 3D Studio MAX/Viz and/or SketchUP
*Ability to build files and specifications required for production and/or construction
