ENTRY LEVEL LAB TECHNICIAN NEEDED

Lab technician will be assisting in our geotechnical materials lab with testing and analysis of all geotechnical and material tests. This will include working with asphalt, soils, aggregates and concrete testing. Testing responsibilities will include preparing samples, washing and drying and performing quality tests on proctors, cylinders, etc. The technician will be responsible for filling out reports and providing assistance to supervisors in other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
--High school diploma or equivalent
--One year experience in the construction material or construction area; experience in a geotechnical lab or similar environment is strongly desired.
--Any relative certifications (ACI, Nuclear Density, WAQTC) are strongly desired.
--ability to read and understand data and properly record collected information
--detail oriented
--good communication skills
--ability to use MS Word and Excel
--must have valid driver's license
--DEPENDABLE AND ON TIME!!!
--able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis, 100 lbs. often
--ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Salary: $12 - $16/hour DOE
