Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Applied Science years of directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. The ability to successfully manage several tasks at one time and review, understand and interpret contract requirements, drawings, specifications and procedures is essential. The appropriate candidate must have a solid technical understanding (both theoretical and practical) of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering principles and the ability to logically communicate these principles to Suppliers, Engineers and Managers.
Highly motivated individual must be familiar with Quality Assurance Principles (six sigma, lean manufacturing). Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills a must. Must be proactive with good verbal/written/presentation skills and have a proven ability to interface well with customers and all levels of program personnel. The ability to understand both the general and technical aspects of the Quality discipline and have the ability to apply practical solutions to complex problems that are encountered is a requirement. Must be familiar with policies that affect organizational unit and recommend modifications to operating policies. Must be familiar with basic quality system requirements ISO 9001.
Description: Function as the MRZB Board involving the disposition of non-conformances and coordination of flowdown supplier concerning dispositions and evaluation. Initiate/respond to CARs for nonconformances to prevent recurrence including the assessment of the effectiveness of the root cause determination and corrective actions.
Ensure program requirements are flowed down through generation and/or revision of work instructions. Prepares materials as needed for in support of MRR, PDR, CDR, and SRR. Assist in the interpretation of drawings, specifications and procedures for program. Establish, generate and analyze metrics related to procurement quality issues for reporting to Program, Monitoring of conditional accepts and ensuring resolution, along with Program withhold tag initiation and clearing. Support program as need in Alert issues. Must have previous experience in electronic manufacturing operations. Must be proficient in a Microsoft applications including Access. Experience with high voltage electronics a plus.
