Job Listing: Customer Service Manager

Our client located in Beltsville, MD is currently looking for a Customer Service Manager to join their team.

-Provides support to outside sales force.
-Provides data and sales forecasts to materials for production scheduling and material requirements
-Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in customer service activities, including order entry, scheduling and program management.
-Plans, prepares, and devises work schedules, according to budgets and workloads.
-Observes and evaluates worker’s performance.
-Trains and instructs employees
-Hires and discharges workers.
-Communicates with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work.
-Interprets and communicates work procedures and company policies to staff.
-Helps workers in resolving problems and completing work.
-Resolves complaints and answers question of customers regarding services and procedures.
-Degree in Business Administration, or a related field, or significantly equivalent management experience.
-Proven leadership experience in the customer service field.
-Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
-Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
-Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures such as Microsoft Office, managing files, etc.
-Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar.
-Mathematics – knowledge of arithmetic, geometry and their applications.
-Six Sigma methodology, a plus.
-ERP experience.
-A record of process improvement in Customer Service.

This position is a Direct Placement opportunity and will pay between $50 and $55K/ year.
