Job Listing: Automotive Planner

We are currently seeking a Planner for a major Automotive Research and Development company located in the Santa Clarita area. Salary is $20-$25/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities include planning, ordering, scheduling and maintaining adequate parts inventory and using MRP system. Must be able to understand inventory control principles, forecasting of parts orders and able to read blue prints.

Ideal candidate would have completed some business college courses on purchasing process and inventory management. Must have completed projects with emphasis on inventory control analysis/order forecasting.

Requirements:

-Must have strong computer skills, be familiar with MRP Logic, and understand parts planning parameters.
- Must be flexible, have strong communication, organizational and time management skills and have the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a team environment and able to work under minimal supervision.
