Job Listing: Driller Assistance

Aerotek Commercial staffing is looking for 2 qualified drilling assistance. This position requires extensive travel.

-Help move drilling rigs and Equipment from site to sot, set up in the new site and connect power cables or hoses for water and air supply.
-Help obtain drilling core samples
-Dig and Clean mud pits and drains
-Mix and Test drilling fluid, chemicals and Grout
-Assist with slotting, welding and inserting case screens
-Assist with well development such as pumping tests.
-Operate equipment such as pumps for air, water, mud, along with equipment used to correct problems in drilled holes caused by mechanical breakdowns or damaged through natural conditions.
-Carry out minor maintenance and repairs including lubrication and Cleaning
-Clean and maintain equipment, drills and camp sites.

Description of Work Environment:

Driller Helpers will be working in the elements. They will experience working on drilling sites all over the western United States. They need to able to travel constantly with frequent changes. They will be working very close with other people and safety is a major concern at all times. It is especially important that our people get along with people because they will be on the road with them for long periods of time.

Extreme Working Conditions
Applicants must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Applicants must be willing to work 12-13 hours a day
Applicants must be willing to work up to 20 days in a row without a break


Out of State Travel
Applicants must be willing to travel out of state

Hours and Compensation
First year income could be 50-60k based on $12.00 per hour and 12-13 hour days.
$1.00 pay increase after CDL is obtained and / or 90 days of employment with good performance.
For every 2 days you work you get one day off. (14 days on, 7 days off etc)
