Primary Job Functions:
This person develops integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues and plays a major role in the development and implementation of major systems. He/She formulates and defines system scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements within the defined business discipline assigned to this person. The position devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering system capacity and limitations and operation time. This includes analysis of business user needs, documentation of requirements, translation of needs into functional and/or technical specifications, writing and executing test cases and plans, and oversight of testing processes. The position acts as a team leader for budgeted projects through completion and user acceptance.
Experience with automotive, demand flow and/or lean manufacturing.
Experience with project managing business systems implementation and training ERP applications.
Experience with optimizing operational procedures and influencing improvement to assist meeting departmental goals and objectives.
Experience working with IT internal controls, related documentation and validation.
Experience with the requirements of the internal control requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley would be ideal.
Experience with report writing tools and developing operational performance reports.
Experience with Project Management and control
6-10yrs of relevant experience working with system development and implementation.
Proficiency in SQL query writing and report generation
Demonstrated successful mastery of major components of the Systems Lifecycle Development methodology in the context of major systems implementations including: requirements gathering and development of functional specifications; management of all facets and phases of test plan development and execution; development of technical specifications.
Prior experience executing project discovery and investigation, including development of a Cost-Benefit Analysis
