Job Listing: HVAC Designer/Engineer

Our client in Burlington, VT is a pioneer in the field of building
commissioning. They are looking to hire an HVAC Designer/Engineer with two to three years experience in building systems design, commissioning or an equivalent combination of education and experience. All candidates must have a thorough understanding of building systems, energy use and controls.

An HVAC background and familiarity with all building energy systems including electrical and domestic hot water is required. The candidate must be familiar and comfortable with electric test instruments and DDC controls.

The candidate will provide building commissioning and engineering services for mechanical systems in new and existing buildings including, but not limited to: plan review, energy analysis, development and administration of construction checklists and functional performance tests, operator training verification, preparation of systems manuals, report preparation and general duties as assigned.

A BEME is preferred, along with strong communication skills and a willingness to travel frequently.
