Job Listing: Machine Builder / Mechanic

This Machine Builder / Mechanic position will require:

- Mechanical Assembly of ROV products consisting of structural components, pumps, motors, valves and gearing

- Fabrication of hydraulic systems consisting of bending complex tubing runs, initial set-up and testing of pumps and valves, final integration testing and functional testing of complete hydraulic systems

- Perform tests including external/internal hydrostatic and/or pneumatic, static/dynamic weight and buoyancy, final integration and testing of complete ROV system

- Interface with Planning, Engineering and Quality Control to ensure completion of projects as scheduled and budgeted


Specific Skills:

- 3-5 years experience in hydraulics and mechanical assembly

- Use of basic hand tools and power tools, drill press and mill, tube bending equipment and hydraulic testing equipment

- Knowledge of pumps, bearings, valves, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.

- Read blueprints

- Machine building experience is a must- ROV's, Printers, etc.


$14-$15 per hour

M-F (7 am - 3:30 pm) with lots of required overtime
