Job Listing: Health & Safety Manager

A leading Manufacturing firm in the Bristol, PA area has an immediate need for a Health & Safety Manager.

The Health and Safety Manager is responsible for:

*Developing and implementing H&S compliance programs, corporate policies, and initiatives in the health and safety areas.

*Responsible for providing regulatory interpretations and guidance to the plant in industrial hygiene and safety areas.

*The Health and Safety Manager will be a plant contact for regulatory agencies and will act as a contact for HES service providers.

*The Health and Safety Manager will submit HES reports to the governing agencies and communicate HES progress and improvement needs to the plant.

*This position will be required to back up the Environmental and Loss Prevention Manager.

*The Health and Safety Manager will drive and support ongoing compliance efforts, improvement plans, and continuous improvement strategies (Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) Ergonomic assessments and Behavioral Accident Prevention Process (BAPP)).

Required Skills:

**Please READ before applying.

*MUST have 5 to 10 years of experience with OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene monitoring, and Chemical Plant operations.

*Will consider managers from Heavy Industrial facilities as well.

*Should be knowledgeable in state and federal IH and safety regulations affecting the site.

*Must have working knowledge of Process Safety Management regulations to support PSM requirements.

Academic Requirements

*4-year degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering or similar technical discipline.
*Professional certifications: IHIT, CIH, ASP, CSP (these certifications are a plus, but are not required).

    Salary and Benefits

    Rate: $90,000 to $105,000 per Year
