TECHNICIAN VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.

THIS IS NOT A PERMANENT POSITION, BUT RATHER AN INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT EXPECTED TO EXTEND BEYOND 1 YEAR. THE INCUMBENT WILL BE ENTITLED TO ALL LEAVE AND INSURANCE COVERAGE AS A PERMANENT EMPLOYEE AND COVERAGE IN THE CIVIL SERVICE RETIREMENT/FEDERAL EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT SYSTEM. POSITIONS ARE CONTINGENT UPON RECEIPT OF AND CONTINUED FUNDING BY NGB.
This position is located in the Construction and Facilities Management Office, Contract and Management Branch. The purpose of this position is to provide the full range of technical and administrative support associated with the budgeting, accounting and processing of funds for construction, operation,rehabilitation and maintenance of Army National Guard (ARNG) facilities and property.
Area 1 = ARNG/ANG Enlisted permanent or indefinite technicians with the Louisiana National Guard.
Area 2 = Enlisted traditional Guard or Active Guard Reserves (AGR) members in the Louisiana National Guard.
