Major Duties
This position is located in the Facilities Sustainment (FS) Branch, Production Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Hawaii. Provides carpentry service involving assisting or constructing items using wood, wood substitutes a, and composite building materials. Constructs, installs, repairs, and modifies wood and wood substitutes to produce a wide variety of structures. Operates general and precision carpentry and woodworking equipment to produce finished products with precise fits, accurate dimensions, and acceptable appearance. Interprets complex instructions, sketches, blueprints and building codes. Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools and equipment and adheres to safety procedures. Installs various types of floor covering on concrete, wood and metal surfaces incidental to carpentry work. Removes carpet, asphalt or vinyl tile and various types of sheet floor covering materials.How to Apply

Qualifications
Applicants must have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position being filled. Your resume must reflect your ability to meet the screen-out element for the position being filled.
SPECIAL Equipments:
This position requires a current State Driver's License.Selectee may be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
Must able to obtain and maintain a NON-CRITICAL Security Clearance as a condition of employment.

Selectee will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

May be required to work overtime, shift work, other than normal duty hours including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, recalled to duty.
This positions requires the employee to work under adverse environmental conditions.

Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: 51,590.00 - 60,209.00 USD per year
