Job Listing: Trainer / Coordinator / Administrator
Proficient in Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project - Familiarity with a leaning Management System- Facilitation skills and understanding of adult learning styles.
Job Duties:
Perform classroom management - Facilitate class modules as needed- Interface with peers, project leads and customers- Communicate with clients about additional business opportunities- Other duties as assigned by California RPS site manager - Provide support in the deployment of learning activities to include- Inputting course information into the learning management system, sending registration confirmation, IDP notifications - Course/class scheduling - Coordinate facility and classroom set-ups for on and offsite deliveries.( Set-up equipment, layout, supplies, class materials, vendor/caterer, interface and payment and classroom cleanliness)- Corresponding with students, (E.G., Confirmations, cancellations, substitutions, etc) - Communicating with instructors to ensure all class needs are met,, including the timely distribution of pre-work materials - Coordinating reproduction services of course materials- Material preparation, including ordering textbooks and reprographics- Arranging catering services- Handling phone inquiries - Assist customers with registrations, input of data into the learning management system, and financial billing for classes.
Comments:
May have to work extended hours - Job involves some travel between Long Beach and El Segundo
Required Skills
Special requirements:
AA Degree or better - May be required to move course materials and lift up to 50 pounds - Proficient in Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project - Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and telephone presence - Experience interacting with adult learners at varying organizational levels, scheduling the use of the classrooms and computer and A/V equipment - Ability to multi-task - Familiarity with a learning management system- Interface with all levels of employees/organization to ensure RLI establishes a world class learning experience- Strong attention to detail and follow up - Position requires non-standard work hours at various times - Position will be an RPS logistician that will administer numerous courses and classes throughout our clients site at all hours of the day and weekend (Overtime) and frequently escort vendors and instructors.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years administrative and coordination support, experience in fast -paced customer service environment
