These are long-term contract positions, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in New York City. Required Skills
Required Skills for the Financial Analyst and Accountant positions include the following:
In addition to the usual requisite skills required for each position, we are looking for candidates possessing:
Database Expertise:
VBA
Access
SQL
Oracle
Other related tools
Experience in Finance and Accounting processes
Familiarity with a variety of Finance, Accounting, Tax and Audit concepts, practices and procedures
Financial Reporting experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Years of experience commensurate with the position; minimum of three (3) years preferred
BS Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
Bonus Skills and Experience (Nice to Have):
Certifications, industry-specific skills always a plus
MBA Degree, CFA and/or CPA designation
Most important:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to set priorities
Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
