Sales Manager
Aerotek is currently seeking qualified candidates for a position as a Sales Manager for our client company's inside sales department. Our client is the provider of online payroll and employer services to small and medium sized businesses. The Sales Manager position is located in Oakland and this location is BART accessible. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. This position pays a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000 / year plus commission (average income about $90,000/year) All applicants are expected to have at least 5 years inside sales experience and at least 3 years experience in a management role.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the management, development, production and management reporting of a team of two inside sales associates, this department will grow to over ten associates within the year. All inside sales calls will be a combination of inbound and outbound calls and the manager will be assisting agents in closing business and handling escalated calls.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain target performance levels to assure individuals and team are achieving goals
- Assist agents in sales calls and closing business
- Assist in training in selling and product knowledge
- Partner with other sales managers in order to maintain developments of selling techniques, scripts and customer service
- Create and provide reports to measure success
- Coordinate telesales campaigns
- Coach inside sales team and conduct performance evaluations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in business/management
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Inside Sales Manager
- Minimum 5 years inside sales experience
- Proven sales skills and successful inside sales track record
- Demonstrate people management skills
- Demonstrate sales aptitude, assertive, persistent, good listener, self-motivated and excellent closing skills
- Must be goal-oriented; must be able to meet and exceed quotas
- Ability to manage the entire sales cycle from open to close
-Ability to manage a high activity, aggressive sales environment
-Experience closing business over the phone
-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
-Strong computer systems knowledge (Word, Excel, Internet, and sales database)
