Job Listing: structural engineer

I have an immediate need for a Structural Engineer in Wilkes Barre, Pa.

Scope:

Local Engineering firm looking for a "Contract" or "Full Time" structural engineer that can help consult new and retrofit projects in heavy, bulk industry.

Responsibilities:

- Work directly with a team of designers

-Project review for new construction or retrofits to existing plants

-Not a Project Manager position, but will hold some project manager duties; i.e. project assessment of equipment and personal, initial meetings with client for consultation

-Final review of drawings and specs for client approval

-Any other responsibilities that may come along with projects

Qualifications:

-Must have a BS in CE or a similar background

-Must be proficient with STAAD

-Must have AUTOCAD experience

-Must have experience with heavy industry, specifically materiel handling systems
