Job Listing: Food Safety and Quality Manager

Aerotek Scientific, a national leader is scientific staffing, is currently partnering with a Food company in Kansas City seeking qualified candidates for a Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Manager.

The SHEQ Manager will have sole responsibility in managing the Quality, Safety, and Environment of our client’s food production facility.

This position will be responsible for OSHA and EPA reporting; incident investigations, development and implementation of the Safety, Health, and Environment management systems; site training programs on safety and quality; and correspondence with regulatory agencies and corporate officials.

The SHEQ manager will be the leader of the TPM for the site and will ensure compliance for the entire facility to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality regulations and company standards.

Key competencies required for this position include:
-Experience managing the Quality, Safety, and Environment of a production facility including experience with TPM.
-Product, Process, and Packaging experience.
-Proven skill in supervising or managing people with the ability to hold them accountable.
-Strategic thinker, Influential personality.
-Great Leadership and a passion for success.

Candidates must have a BS in Food Science, Engineering, or other related fields with 5+ years manufacturing quality experience.
