Job Listing: Windows Mobile/WinCE and Linux SE

Aerotek is representing a leader in digital mobile wireless communications and computing hardware and software products. This Design Center develops a wireless platform for advanced PDA and laptop devices. They do the core hardware and software (platforms) that support these devices.

They have multiple immediate openings for Windows Mobile/WinCE and Linux Software Engineers for device driver and software development and optimization for mobile computing platforms. They will be doing software bring up, looking at system power and performance optimization and board support package development, integration and test.

Required Skills for Windows Mobile/WinCE and Linux SE Job:

  • BS DEGREE IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING
  • COMPUTER SCIENCE
  • OR ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (PREFER MASTERS)
  • 2+ YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH EMBEDDED C/C++ PROGRAMMING IN A WINDOWS MOBILE/WINCE ENVIRONMENT. THE CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A RTOS (REAL TIME OPERATING SYSTEM) ENVIRONMENT
  • DEVICE DRIVER DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE
  • UNDERSTANDING OF VARIOUS APPLICATION FRAMEWORKS (NOT APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT). EXPERIENCE PORTING APPLICATIONS (PREFERABLY MULTIMEDIA APPLICATIONS) TO AN EMBEDDED PLATFORM
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION
  • ANALYTICAL THINKING
  • INTERPERSONAL SKILLS. THEY MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN A MULTI-DISCIPLINE
  • TEAM ENVIRONMENT
