Job Listing: Sales Assistant-Investment Banking

Our client, a leading banking and financial services firm, is currently seeking a Sales Assistant in Treasury Services. The Sales Assistant will support the selling of treasury management solutions to commercial and corporate clients.

Responsibilities:
- Assist treasury sales staff with all related sales support activities
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, flow charts, and pricing
- Produce sales portfolios and management reports for staff and managers
- Ensure key relationship systems are current to increase portfolio growth
- Distribute client-specific communications and coordinate local client events
- Provide telephone coverage and manage incoming calls for the sales force
- Maintain central client files for all relationship to support sales staff

Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in marketing, management, finance or accounting
- Previous sales/banking internship or entry-level experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
- Extremely proficient with Windows applications, including Microsoft Office

Details:
- Employment: Contract with strong future growth opportunity
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Location: Midtown New York City
- Target start date: 7/7/08 after drug/background clearance
