Job Listing: Field Service Engineer

Aerotek CE is partnered up with a leader in the packaging machinery industry and is currently accepting applications for a Field Service Engineer.

Responsibilities:
-Must be familiar with installation, maintenance, service, and repair of servo-mechanical machinery.
-Must be willing to travel up to 90% of the time(approximately 30% installations and 70% troubleshooting) at client locations.
-Prefer familiarity with Rockwell, Yaskawa, etc. PLC's and Servo's. Ability to troubleshoot servo's, would be a clear upgrade over current under-performing staff.
-Must have excellent communication skills to support customers by phone and in person.
-Must be able to convey a winning service-oriented persona when dealing with customers on a face-to-face basis.
-Must be willing to train, groom, and orient customers in operating and maintaining all equipment.
-French or Spanish speaking candidates will be given preferential treatment.
-Any candidate who can trouble shoot on electrical noise, utilize oscilloscopes to debug, and perform routine software troubleshooting and code changes on PLC's.
-Prefer Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
-3 or more years previous Field Service experience with high speed, servo-mechanical packaging systems.
