Job Listing: Sr. Desktop Analyst


An fortune 1000 company specializing in providing global infrastructure products and services has an immediate need for a Sr. Desktop Technician for a 6-12 month contract assignment.

Job Description:

This individual will be supporting around 500 remote users and 200 onsite users. Users will consist of company employees and business partners in the field. This individual will spend their day imaging pc's via Norton Ghost, moving profiles from pc to pc, asset inventory/asset provisioning, troubleshooting pc's onsite and remote, TCP/IP connectivity and performing traceroutes/pings, Wireless connectivity issues, MS Office tickets, working tickets via Remedy ticketing system, and collaborating with national as well as international IT teams

Windows XP, and Windows NT

Active Directory

Outlook

Norton Ghost (Symantec)

MS Office/Winzip

Dell and IBM hardware (Lenovo)

Blackberry

Remedy

Cisco Routers/Switches


Requirements:

-5+ years of hands on desktop experience
in an enterprise level environment (300+ users)

-5+ years of experience troubleshooting connectivity issues, TCP/IP, traceroutes, ping, etc

-Heavy experience imaging PC's, preferably with Norton, but other tools are accepted.

-Experience with Windows XP, and Windows NT and entire MS Office suite

-Extensive experience with Active Directory and Outlook

-Experience with Dell and IBM hardware (Lenovo)

-Experience troubleshooting Blackberry

-Great phone and presentation skills

-Experience connecting Wireless users via Windows Account ID.
