Job Listing: Mechanical Assembler

A growing company in the Quakertown, PA area has an immediate need for a mechanical assembler. This individual will be completing manual labor along the production line to assemble pieces to meet company specifications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operate assembling line machinery and air tools.
2. Must be able to follow detailed instruction to perform mechanical assembly.
3. Inspects products per engineering built specifications to ensure proper assembly.
4. May require the ability to work at various work stations and/or on different product lines.
5. Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary to produce product within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
6. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOP) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
7. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production line machinery.
8. Communicate with operators and supervisors.
9. Clean and maintain work area.
10. Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
