Job Listing: Mechanical Engineer/Food Service

Our client, a prominent distributor within the food industry is currently looking for a experienced Mechanical Engineer for their facility in Fontana.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- makes necessary calculations using engineering principles to design and develop equipment as it relates to food service equipment
- Performs Solid Modeling CAD and drafting functions to generate, update, improve and revise design drawings
- Coordinates the construction and testing of experimental fixtures and prototype mechanical mechanisms in both laboratory and field settings
- Designs or supervises design and development of equipment to implement practical test models for evaluation of actual use in industry

REQUIREMENTS:

- 3 years work experience with engineering principles, food equipment, automation, materials handling equipment or related machine design.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or Equivalent Design Experience.
- Masters Degree a plus
