Job Listing: INSPECTOR CMM/OPERATOR

Aerotek is in search of a weekend Saturday, Sunday and Monday Inspector/CMM Operator in the Grandview, Missouri area. Applicant should have previous experiance with a CMM. Hours for this shift will be 5am to 5pm.

Purpose:
Assures compliance to customer requirements of all product produced. Compliance is determined by mechanical means, review of test reports or certifications, or by monitoring of any acceptable Statistical methods used to assure conformance to requirements and process capability.

Reports to: Inspection Supervisor

Minimum Eligibility Requirements (Skills):
- The ability to read, understand and interpret prints as well as customer specifications and requirements.
- Able to interpret parts list and Assembly instructions.
- Understanding and skill working with geometry and trigonometry.
- Proficiency in fundamentals of dimensional metrology.
- Knowledge of CMM operation and fundamentals of programming.
- Excellent comprehension of machining process.
- Through understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
- Computer literate (training will be provided in the various software programs)

Essential Job Functions:
- Verify product conformance through extensive use of inspection tools and gauges.
- Operation of the DCC-CMM for verification of product to customer requirements.
- Capable of learning how to edit and maintain DCC-CMM programs, light programming.
- Verify completion of Quality documents and accurate representation of product flow throughout the system.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Calibration System and it’s tools and gages.

Education/Experience:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in quality assurance (3-5 years preferred).
