Job Listing: Water Resources/Structural Engineer

Great opportunity to join a multidisciplinary engineering consulting firm providing a full range of services. The water resources division is looking for a structural design engineer to join their team in the Sacramento, CA.

They are seeking an engineer with the following qualification to support project work in their regional office in Sacramento:

*B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering is required
*Experience with water resource projects is preferred
*Engineering project experience including 5+ years design experience of structures relating to water resources including bridges, dams, pump stations and levees.

Other desirable qualification include:

*California PE registration
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to work directly with clients and regulatory agency personnel preferred
*Experience with structural steel and/or reinforced concrete design
*Working familiarity with AutoCAD or Microstation

Major responsibilities and duties of these positions include:

*Preparation of hydrology studies for large watersheds
*Modeling reservoir systems
*Modeling hydroelectric systems
*Report preparation and presentations to public agencies
*The ability to handle multiple assignments successfully
*Minimal field work is also required
