Major Duties

This position is located in the Rural Development (RD) Arizona State office.  The Administrative Officer manages the full range of administrative program areas for employees located in the State.  The Administrative Officer as a full participant and resource management advisor to the State Director in planning and conducting the full range of administrative programs for the State.  major programs include budget, management/program analysis, personnel management, contracting/business services, and information technology.  May serve as Acting State Director, during the State Director's absence, with delegating authority to take action on program and administrative matters.
