Major Duties
Serves as an Assistant Professor of National Security and Interagency Policy at the National Strategic Gaming Center (NSGC), Institute for National Strategic Studies, National Defense University (NDU). Under the direction of the Director, Interagency Transformation, Education and Analysis (ITEA) program, the incumbent is responsible for supervising, designing, developing, and executing ITEA’s interagency educational initiatives, including all ITEA-sponsored outreach, policy, and educational events, and also serves as a senior instructor and facilitator for these events. The incumbent is responsible for continuous development and refinement of new and existing educational and policy analysis curricula and programs for the academic, non-governmental, and interagency communities at the strategic level and for providing concrete application of interagency training objectives to the development of US foreign and domestic policy. The incumbent supervises the ITEA education program development and implementation team. Responsibilities also include expanding the breadth and depth of existing interagency and academic contacts and marketing ITEA educational events to broader interagency audiences.

Qualifications
Must possess earned master’s degree in appropriate discipline with prior supervisory experience and substantial professional experience relevant to interagency education and policy gaming. Ten years experience in designing and managing experiential educational programs required, with at least three year’s experience developing strategic interagency decision-making exercises and coordinating interagency outreach and policy educational events preferred. Must have superior written and oral communication skills, and demonstrated analytical and interpersonal abilities. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret or higher level. Subject matter experts appointed with the purpose of identifying the best-qualified candidates will rate applicants on the basis of criteria listed below and the potential to successfully accomplish duties assigned.
You must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for this position.
Selected applicant will be subject to random drug testing.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
Travel requirement for this position is Seldom. You may be required to travel up to 15% of the time.

Salary Range: 67,017.00 - 82,140.00 USD per year
