Job Listing: Account Manager Enterprise Sales
- Sells into multiple assigned accounts in the Midwest Region.
- Primary focus will be on penetration new accounts that do not have an existing relationship with BMC Software.
- Establishing and building executive-level relationships.
- Understanding and assessing customers' business objectives, strategies and, therefore, customer requirements.
- Identifying BMC solutions to meet account needs.
- Leading other team members to maximize growth.
- Overall account management including detailed account planning, sales forecasting and communication within the team and customer.
- Account Managers lead their accounts and therefore maintain principal authority in the accounts.
- Responsible for extensive prospecting into new, named accounts.
- Complete Sales Cycle responsibilities from prospecting to closing.
- Ability to lead and coordinate appropriate resources throughout a sales cycle.
- Ability to work well with BMC's partners.
- Accurate Forecasting on a weekly/monthly and quarterly basis.
- Coordinating and responding to RFP/RFI requests from customers.
- Ability to call and present at the CIO/CFO level.
- Experienced in selling in complex sales environments prior solution selling experience.
- Superior presentations skills are required.
- Ability to present BMC's strategic vision/direction to all levels within an organization.
- Ability to open new accounts.
- Experienced in replacing existing software solutions.
- 7+ years of successful Software Sales
