Job Listing: Transportation Supervisor
Supervise and coordinate all repair and maintenance activities for the entire RECO barge fleet; provide logistics support for SGCD barge transportation functions; and provide other support, as required, for the Manager, RECO Transportation.Supervise and coordinate owned and leased equipment repair and maintenance.Maintain cost and condition reporting for owned and leased barge fleetsPlan deck barge utilization with sales, customer, repair and logistics specialists.Coordinate and participate in marine equipment surveys Assist logistics specialist plan and monitor daily vessel operationsInvestigate and evaluate potential unloading sites for both barge and ship deliveries Required Skills BS Degree in Transportation or related field preferred, or (5) years experience in brown water barge transportation and barge maintenance;Minimum of two (2) years experience in marine industry with a background in equipment management and repair required.
