The Fontaine Design Group, an internationally recognized and award winning yacht design firm specializing in custom world sailing yachts, is seeking applications for a Marine Engineer / Naval Architect. Duties in this position include:Profile, General Arrangement, Deck Layout Drawings;Detailed Interior Drawings;Engineering Drawings;3-D Modeling;Lines Fairing;Structural Design – Calculations (to meet requirements laid out by Lloyds Register, MCA, DNV, ABS, etc.);Weight Estimates, Hydrostatics, Stability;Velocity Prediction;Foil Development;Written Proposals The Applicant must have extensive sailing experience, an aesthetic eye, knowledge of modern marine construction methods and marine systems and excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with AutoCAD, Multi-Surf, Rhino and MS Office applications is required. No calls please.
