Job Listing: Manufacturing Process Engineer
The primary function of the Manufacturing Process Engineer (MPE) is to recommend efficiency gains and productivity improvements across all departments with the aim of creating a culture of continuous improvement at AUSTAL. The MPE will be responsible for developing and implementing lean process improvements using black belt techniques. The MPE will work closely with the department managers to support the MMF project plan and agreed outcomes.Preferred Qualifications:Must have understanding of lean process improvement strategies and engineering techniques to include:Process FlowMaterial FlowErgonomics Cost/Benefit AnalysisFloor Space/Work Station Layout Manufacturing Cycle TimesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Degree 5+ Years Experience in a Lean Mfg EnvironmentBlack Belt CertificationAbility to Manage Multiple ProjectsSolid Communication Skills Both Oral and WrittenAbility to Build Relationships to Gain Support & Commitment from Others
