Job Listing: 2nd Assistant Engineers

Celebrity Cruises operates a fleet of nine modern, premium class passenger cruise vessels with four more under construction with delivery scheduled from October 2008 thru 2011. Three of our vessels are medium speed geared diesel with CRPP and shaft generator/booster motor with PTO/PTI capability, two have inboard electric propulsion motors and four are equipped with podded electric propulsion motors. The four new vessels will be podded electric propulsion. Our vessels have extensive power management and ship automation systems that supervise and manage all shipboard functions i.e. HVAC, provisions refrigeration, generation, distribution, propulsion, and lighting.Qualifications: Celebrity Cruises has immediate openings for 2nd Assistant Engineers that want to further their career on board our vessels. Primary role is the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of engine room, technical equipment and watch standing duties.Compensation: Salary $9,400/mo.
