Job Listing: Manager, Labor Relations
Manages the planning, design, implementation and administration of programs and policies for the labor relations function. Serves on negotiating team for all collective bargaining. Manages the development and implementation of labor relations programs and policies. Manages activities to provide consistent policy and contract interpretations. Participates in activities to investigate and resolve labor relations problems. Consults with employee groups and businesses to determine the need for new or revised labor relations programs. Administers union payroll, time and attendance, benefits, staffing and other human resources functions as required. Graduate degree in Human Resources Management or Labor/Industrial Relations preferred, bachelors degree required. Experience in arbitration proceedings, grievance processing and other related labor activities. 6 + years experience in negotiation/ administering collective bargaining agreements. Expert knowledge in all aspects of labor law as it applies to union and non-union environments. Expert understanding of collective bargaining agreements and their affect on non-union employees, budgets, and long term planning.
