Job Listing: Engineer
Reports to the Captain and is responsible for: The safe and efficient operation of all machinery aboard the tug. Preparing the engines to enable the tug to get underway. Monitoring engine performance and keeping logs and maintenance records. Conducting preventive maintenance as outlined by the Engineering Superintendent. Maintaining sufficient fuel, lubricants, and other essential engine related stores and consumables. Personally supervising the safe and efficient loading of fuel and lubricants. Assisting Engineering Superintendent with the preparation of dry-docking specifications and supervision of repairs.
