Job Listing: Customer Support
Requirements of this Direct Hire opportunity are to: Receive and enter timely all customer orders via phone, fax, EDI, mail or sales representatives. Answer all incoming customer service calls in a timely manner. Process internal stock requisitions. Resolve issues with customers about order inquiries, product availability or account “hold” status in a congenial manner. Assist outside sales representatives in preparation and mailing of all literature requests. Inform inventory analyst of product requirements as they arise. Ensure all goods ordered but not delivered are placed on backorder. Process standing orders. Ensure companies Quality Management System is adhered to. Process all credit notes in a timely manner and other duties as required by the Management.
Required Skills
High school diploma or college general education courses. Minimum of three years of customer service or related industry experience. Strongly desire experience in a commercial distribution environment—working with commercial customers and processing orders. Significant exposure to heavy telephone volume. Intermediate computer skills and working knowledge of computers.
