Successful candidates will promote accountability, internal control, efficiency and effectiveness of public service delivery and provide audit and advisory services to clients. Primary duties include planning and leading difficult and complex integrated financial, performance, compliance, analyze internal controls and determining their adequacy; reviewing and analyzing reliability of accounting and reporting system; executing audit plan employing critical thinking and deep testing methodologies; performing risk assessment; preparing audit reports identifying weaknesses in controls, procedures and/or operations; communicating problems with internal controls or accounting and reporting systems to Senior Management and recommending corrective actions; reviewing and analyzing customer transactions where fraud is suspected; investigating cases of employee defalcations; acquiring and analyzing data for use by local law enforcement agencies; managing a completion of audit fieldwork in accordance with GAAS and information systems audits and advisory services for clients.
