Management of actuarial department
Manage, coach, motivate, mentor and foster development of actuarial personnel
Support actuarial personnel in order for them to fulfill their role and responsibilities, and to meet their objectives

Actuarial Support
Act as the in-house actuarial expert
Respond to actuarial questions and requests from clients
Provide high level actuarial support to other departments and senior management
Inforce Management
Analyze experience and recommend appropriate course of action
Make presentations to senior management and clients
Manage implementation of course of action
Supervise development and production of experience studies
Managing multiple requests simultaneously
Balancing the need to meet time sensitive deadlines while providing a quality deliverable
Keeping up to date with actuarial industry standards
Managing personnel while maintaining high quality individual work load
Working under pressure





Required Skills

10 years experience in life insurance, including pricing and reinsurance
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and member of the American Academy of Actuaries
Excellent management skills
Thorough understanding of advanced reinsurance structures
Experience with pricing software and understanding of cash flow projections
Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
Excellent communication skills
