Job Listing: Electrical Engineering Technician
This IT firm in Dupont, Washington (near Tacoma) is seeking a Electrical Engineering Technician. The candidate must be able to work as a team member and independently. The candidate will assist in the development and design of power electronics circuits by building prototypes. evaluating and qualifying components, sizing and selecting component values, and reviewing schematics and layouts. Volt is an EOE.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will perform validation testing of power supplies, DC-DC converters, and voltage regulators using automated and stand alone test equipment. Writes test plans and procedures and documents work with test reports using standard Microsoft Office products. Troubleshoots and repairs to the component level. Participates in engineering and manufacturing meetings; travels to customer sites including international.
Trains technicians and junior engineers.
