A loan and lease company, that helps corporate customers buy or rent equipment from its parent company, has a long-term contract position open for a Siebel Actuate Developer.
Job Description:
This requisition is for a resource to develop Actuate reports integrated within a Siebel platform, while working on a Call Center/Quality/Service Solution project.
The candidate will join the project team(s) and focus on leading the report development. Testing efforts in support of development are also preferred. This resource is needed to perform the following tasks:
Analyzing existing requirements and developing reports.
Interfacing with Business and Integration partners.
Defining all potentially impacted data and systems.
Identifying any data gaps in order to successfully meet business requirements.

This company provides loans and leases to corporate customers to buy or rent equipment and machinery manufactured by its parent company. That equipment includes mining and logging equipment, off road trucks, excavating machinery, gas turbines and engines, forklifts, backhoes, and construction equipment. The company is active is some 30 countries in North and South America, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
This is an estimated 2-year plus contract position, through Volt Technical Resources - a division of a Fortune 1000 publicly traded Staffing Industry Leader, based in Atlanta, GA. We are among the largest IT staffing companies in the US for contract/temporary and direct hire placements and support most of the top rated IT companies in the Southeast.
Required Skills
Required Skills for this Siebel Actuate Developer position include the following:
Data Analysis skills as well as Data Migration and Integration skills are required
Specific experience with Actuate reports and Siebel is required
Strong communication, as well as professional and leadership abilities
Prior experience with Actuate reports and associated technical skills
Strong organizational skills, along with oral and written communications skills
Ability to define data setup needs, and plan/facilitate System Integration tests to verify requirements
Bachelors Degree
Experience with Siebel Call Center
Knowledge of Windows 2003 Servers
Knowledge of EES systems and data structures preferred
MANDATORY SKILL SETS AND EXPERIENCE:
Actuate Reports
Siebel Actuate Reports
Oracle 9.x or higher databases
SQL
PL/SQL
Strong troubleshooting skills (i.e. interpreting log files and SQL statements, etc.)
Strong communication skills
