Job Listing: Electrical Engineer

Our Client is looking for an Electrical Engineer to assist the development, design, and test of complex electrical sub-systems (analog and digital) used for low power battery operated microprocessor controlled medical devices, and automated test systems for testing such devices. Areas of responsibilities will include power systems, sensor interfaces, A/D conversion, RF telemetry. Must be able to write detailed functional specifications, test specifications and test reports. Must be an effective communicator capable of excelling in a multi-disciplinary, team based product development environment. Job Duty:
1. Develop electrical test systems and associated software used in production testing of electrical subsystems
2. Develop electrical test systems and associated software used to validate the functionality of electrical subsystems
3. Support the development of several microprocessor based medical products
4. Assist Manufacturing in troubleshooting operations involving electronics assembly and test
5. Assist in the design and development of embedded controller systems
6. Evaluate and select components, generate component specifications, and functional and test specifications
7. Produce circuit board schematics, circuit board layout and associated documentation as needed.

Required Skills

Must have 1-3 years of experience in the following areas:
1.Digital and analog circuit design and analysis.
2.Embedded and PC-based LabView programming.
3.Use of laboratory tools such as arbitrary waveform generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and data acquisition systems 4.Schematic capture and PCB layout
5.Embedded controller systems design and analysis.
6.Technical report writing.
7.Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout with OrCAD. BSEE or related Engineering degree
