The Procurement Manager position is an individual contributor role responsible for negotiating, drafting, administering and managing the full range of domestic and international commercial contracts. This individual is responsible for guiding the procurement of commodities and/or services supporting Internal business groups ensuring the best leverage of company dollars.
Manage vendors/suppliers to ensure they continually meet or exceed optimum levels of quality, technology, service, and cost. Perform performance reviews with vendors to measure and report performance levels and to identify effective strategies for future business.
Implement proactive processes, policies and procedures supporting internal business groups. Influence partnerships with multiple organizations while enhancing strong vendor relationships in order to meet quality and cost objectives.
Utilize RFI (Request for Information), RFP (Request for Proposal), and RFQ (Request for Quote) and Dynamic Bidding tools to identify, select, and engage with vendors to ensure high quality, on time delivery and cost competitiveness.
Position requires strong contract and pricing negotiation skills in working with a cross-functional team including internal business groups, Finance and Legal in writing, negotiating and driving resolution on Purchase Agreements/Contracts and Statements of Work to meet our client?s requirements. Requires being a team player in dynamic role to effectively provide procurement support.

Required Skills
BA/BS degree plus 5-7 years or MA/MS/MBA degree plus 4-6 years procurement experience, or equivalent.
Technically savvy: experience working on Mac OS
Team player and a self-starter
Proven negotiation skills and working with supplier/vendors/various levels of management
Estimated Duration: 3 months
