Job Listing: Sr. Escrow Officer

Our client is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer to open, process, and close residential and/or commercial escrow transactions in their Treasure Valley Office and they are willing to pay relocation fees for the right candidate. Candidate must work well with established policies and procedures to accurately open, process, and close escrow transactions. Develops customer relationships, maintains business by demonstrating professional customer service and communication. Maintains loyal client following. Documents closing statements and escrow instructions, presents to buyers and sellers at closing and coordinates timing of closing, recording, disbursement of funds and issuance of title insurance policy. Communicates accurately, timely, and effectively, carries out written and verbal instructions. Executes branch business development plans, may contact brokers, real estate agents, builders, attorneys, lenders and other customers to solicit business and ascertain needs, active in industry related functions, provides educational support to clients, performs notary duties, provides leadership, training, and occasionally works overtime as needed.

Required Skills

Candidate must have a strong work ethic and exceptional work history and a High school diploma or equivalent. 5-8 Years of experience as an Escrow Officer in the Boise area is desired. A thorough knowledge of residential real estate escrows and title insurance is a must. Candidate must be computer savvy and proficient with an escrow software system, MS Word and Excel, electronic email, Intranet and Internet sharp, typing 40 wpm, 10-Key, and operate office machines such as a typewriter, fax, scanner and phone system. Candidate must have good math skills, proven accuracy and have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills and high attention to detail. A valid Notary Commission and Idaho driver’s license are essential to this position. Ideal candidate must have the ability to juggle many projects at once and be committed to quality customer service.
