Job Listing: Electronics Technician

Volt has an immediate opening for an Electronics Technician to work with a leading Semiconductor company in SW Austin. Training will be provided to assist in ramp up and career advancement. The shift will be 4 days on, 3 days off... then 3 days on, 4 days off. Great opportunity for someone who enjoys long weekends!
*** Various Shift Positions Available; 12 hours shifts (6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.) with alternating 4 and 3 day work weeks. ***

Selected Candidates will learn to use diagnostic and product test programs to diagnose and repair HST and SLT equipment.
Will make use of oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, and various other diagnostic equipment to diagnose and repair equipment failures at the DUT specific hardware level and system level specific to HST and SLT systems.
The Electronics Technician will participate in the building, and test validation of sub-assembly hardware associated with HST and SLT activities.
Will receive training to maintain refrigeration systems associated with HST and SLT systems.
Technician must be capable of performing duties with minimal to no supervision and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

Qualified Candidates will be skilled in the use of meters, oscilloscopes, and other electronic trouble-shooting equipment, basic soldering skills, capable of using MS Microsoft Software on computers, able to lift up to 30 lbs.
** Component level testing experience desirable for some openings, but not required for all **
