Job Listing: Training Coordinator

Are you the stellar Coordinator that we are looking for? Volt is currently looking for a Training Coordinator to work for one of our customers who is a major aerospace company located in the El Segundo area. As a Training Coordinator you will perform classroom management functions. Facilitate class modules as needed - interface with peers, project leads and customers. Communicate with clients about additional business opportunities. Provide support in the deployment of learning activities to include. Inputting course information into the learning management system, sending registration confirmation, IDP notifications. Course/class scheduling. Coordinate facility and classroom set-ups for on and off-site deliveries. Set-up equipment, layout, supplies, class materials, vendor/caterer, interface and payment and classroom cleanliness. Corresponding with students, (e.g., confirmations, cancellations, substitutions, etc.) communicating with instructors to ensure all class needs are met, including the timely distribution of pre-work materials. Coordinate reproduction services of course materials, material preparation, including ordering textbooks and reprographics. Arranging catering services, handling phone inquiries, assisting customers with registrations. May have to work extended hours. Job involves some travel between Long Beach and El Segundo off hours justification position requires access to facilities on weekends and off hours to set up for training events.
