Job Listing: Planner
The Planner will be responsible for maintaining all material for their assigned product line as well as for ensuring that all parts are produced in support of the production schedule.
The individual will also be responsible to confer with purchasing, engineering, customer service, program managers, quality and the manufacturing department to determine progress of work and completion dates.
The Planner will consistently work with the in-house MRP/Mapix system. In addition, the Planner will be responsible to provide all monthly, weekly and daily shop and assembly requirements to the Materials Manager, Manufacturing Manager and appropriate Leads.
Required Skills
To be qualified for the position, the following criteria must be met:
- Basic working knowledge of Mapix and its basic elements, in addition to basic facets of producing products through procurement, the shop, outside processing and assembly. Basic product knowledge is essential.
- Some college and any combination of 2 to 4 years of planning experience, or 4 years of experience in a planning, stockroom or production position in a manufacturing environment.
